Ciar rhymes with Beer and has a hard C. Okay, now that’s out of the way, I’ll tell you about her. She was born in Baltimore, went to grad school in Indiana, took a job in New Jersey (got a little sidetracked and lived in Greece for eight years), and now lives with her husband and magical talking cat. Ciar works at a University and writes romances and fantasies. She often draws on her background in archaeology, or the locations of her travels, or simply her very vivid dreams for inspiration. Ciar holds a second degree black belt, likes to jog (well, likes it when the run is over), is increasingly intrigued by genres like steampunk, and hopes to one day retire to a small island where no one can find her.
Ciar took on writing to scratch an itch brought on my many years of reading romances and fantasies. Her books can currently be found at Samhain, Loose ID, Ellora’s Cave, and on sites like Amazon, Fictionwise, Barnes and Noble, yada yada.
Her husband is a photographer specializing in the “Jersey shore,” and with him, she spends many a summer weekend combing the beach and bay for good shots.

Hi Ciar,
I just left a comment on your blog and will head back to the Samhain Cafe loop for a chance to win Mayan Secrets.

Hi Ciar,
I wanted to let you know that I was on the Samhain eBook celebration loop yesterday, and was picked as a winner to choose ANY Samhain book I wanted.
I chose Mayan Secrets. I am planning to read it in May before we leave for our cruise, where we will get the chance to visit several Mayan ruins.
Thank you for your story,
Julie

I found Valentine Candy but no Spring Fling. Am I at the correct place?
