She looks worried! Evidently she hasn’t heard about Good News on this blog. There’s lots to celebrate. What’s on your list of things to celebrate, dear friends?

I have some great news-I just sold a novella to Bantam! It’ll be part of Bantam’s first erotic anthology, along with authors Stephanie Tyler and Sydney Croft, and will be out in 2008.
This makes the third book I’ve sold to Bantam this year-a great way to start 2007!
Thanks for letting me share, Ciar. πŸ™‚

  2. Gina Ardito says:

My friend just told me she saw my book, prominently displayed in the New Releases section, in her local library in Vermont. And tomorrow I’m doing my first booksigning!

Thanks for letting me boast, Ciar!

  3. Toni Sue says:

My good news is nothing as glorious as the prior two posts (congrats to both, btw!), but I am so extremely happy to report that my ‘muse’ has returned, after quite a long absense!!! I wrote like a madwoman last night and couldn’t slow my brain down enough to even contemplate sleep until after well after 1 AM. I am in no way complaining, mind you!

  4. Emily Ryan-Davis says:

Congratulations on the library display, Gina!

And Good News Friday is a great idea, Ciar. πŸ™‚ I didn’t get my good news today, but I did get it this week. Does that qualify? It was certainly awesome to me to find a review from Romance Reviews in my inbox. It can be viewed here:

Good news, good news. Hmm… Well, the second book in my shifter series, B*E*A*S*T* OF BURDEN, is currently the best seller for my publisher. πŸ™‚

Also, my most favorite. Book. Evar. Will be released thru Samhain this coming Tuesday, Feb. 13th. Woohoo! And you know what else is cool?? I’m having an author day on Ciar’s very own Author Loop that day, giving away both of these books, as well as some other super-awesome prizes.

So that’s my good news. You could win something cool next week on Ciar’s loop! πŸ˜›

And like a moron, I didn’t tell you the TITLE of my favorite. Book. Evar.

Congratulations on the good news, everyone!
My good news is that I won first prize in the Creatures of Darkness contest at Stardust Press. I posted the contracts on Monday, and sent off the blurb and cover art forms yesterday. πŸ™‚

  8. anny says:

Well, congratulations to EVERYONE. My good news pales next to everyone else, but I was offered a contract for my third book yesterday from Ellora’s Cave. Third book since November.

  9. Nell Dixon says:

Hi Ciar, Congrats to everyone on their news. Mine is that the third book in my Cinderella series for Moonlit Romance has just been accepted. I’m hoping to have a 2007 date soon for Dangerous To Know.

  10. Daisy Dexter Dobbs says:

There are lots of good news things happening in my life but the very latest is “meeting” you, Ciar, and finding out that we’re both avid time travel story aficionados. I’m glad we’ve both set our reservations aside and have decided to take the plunge and write our own stories.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we can both shout with some very good news once our books are published and our time travels become phenomenal bestsellers! πŸ˜€

  11. Ciar Cullen says:

Congrats to everyone! And D3, agreed, we can root each through our time traveling torment :o)

  12. Jessy says:

I don’t have any book related good news….

I like hearing about yours, though. πŸ™‚
